On November 17, 2011, the Rochester Area Chapter of the New York State Commercial Association of Realtors® (NYSCAR) held its 2011 President’s Dinner and Awards Banquet at the Genesee Valley Club. Over 60 members and their guests attended. At the event, Joseph F. Rowley, Jr., of CB Richard Ellis, was recognized and received the “Meritorious Service Award,” for his many years of service to the Rochester Area Chapter of NYSCAR. Buckingham Properties received the “Commercial Deal of the Year” Award in recognition for their 65,000 square foot lease to EarthLink at Alexander Park. The award was accepted by Larry Glazer, President of Buckingham Properties. Anita Bruckner, of RE/MAX Realty Group-Commercial Division, was recognized as the “Commercial Realtor of the Year.” The event also included the installation of Officers for 2012.  Joe Rowley presided over the swearing in of Mark Rohlin as President, Greg Oehler as Vice President and Bernie Fallon as Treasurer. New Directors installed were Tom Lockwood from Charwood Commercial Realty and Adam Smith from The Cabot Group. Mercedes Brien, Secretary, from Nothnagle Commercial and Scott Burdett from Flaum Management Company will be sworn in at a later date. Joe Rowley accepts the Meritorious Service Award. Larry Glazer accepts the Deal of the Year Award on behalf of Buckingham Properties from Mark Rohlin. Anita Bruckner receives the Commercial Realtor of the Year Award from Ted Welter. Mark Rohlin is sworn in as 2012 RAC NYSCAR President. 2012 Officers sworn in were Greg Oehler, Adam Smith, Bernie Fallon and Tom Lockwood.
